CIPD Level 5 HR qualification

With a CIPD qualification, you’ll have the ability to demonstrate your skills in Human Resources to employers which can help you stand out among other applicants.

As well, a CIPD qualification could help you earn more money. When you are CIPD Level 3 qualified, for example, and working as an assistant, you could earn £10,000 more than someone without that certificate.

With a higher-level qualification and a role as an HR manager or director, that salary could be upwards of £60,000.

A CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Practice is very similar to a foundation degree.

This course is ideal if you're aspiring to, or are taking the next steps in your career in people practice management:

  • Ideally an existing Foundation qualification (or equivalent) is desirable; alternatively, relevant work experience can be considered
  • You must be over the age of 18 or have a third-party payee for any financial agreement
  • You must have a solid grasp of the English language (IELTS 6.5 or equivalent if English is not your first language)
  • To receive the Diploma qualification, you must ensure you have CIPD membership throughout your study

Yes, you can. Although Level 3 is a great foundation for this course, and recommended, relevant experience in HR can also be considered.
